Tony Hui is a Registered Physical Therapist at Lee’s Physiotherapy.
Tony graduated with a first honours Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Hong Kong in 2002. Having an interest in treating overuse injuries and acute trauma, he completed a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine & Health Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017.
For the last 16 years, Tony served his clients in outpatient orthopedic settings, utilizing therapeutic interventions conceptualized from Australia, Canada, China, UK and US. Intrigued by how everyday life can set the body control “off balance”, he developed interest in diagnosing the root cause, communicating treatment options with clients, and averting the imbalance with various strategies. One of his avenues of choice is Clinical Pilates, where core body control is addressed with priority, such that remaining kinetic issues are often self-corrected to a surprising degree.
Tony speaks fluent English and Cantonese; also functional in Mandarin. When it comes to rehabilitation, he leads by example, living an active lifestyle and always finding new pathways to health promotion. If you don’t see him treating clients at the clinic, you’ll find him hiking, biking, windsurfing, and playing tennis in your neighbourhood. Tony is also certified in PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Diving.
